Sure, why not. This this was basically a (bad) omen for all the raised hatchbacks that were yet to come. I never thought I’d say it was ahead of its time, but here we are...
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

Lower both the roofline and the beltline to get ride of all the mass below the grill/back window and it might not be completely terrible.

You know it would probably sell at least as well as the original. But you’d have to add black cladding to the arches and lift it a couple more inches.
If only EssExTee could be so grossly incandescent

I don’t hate it but it’s clearly just dr awn over the original. The rear is pretty nice though

Needs a higher and more angled beltline, angrier headlights, hood creases for more angry, a black plastic section on the D pillar that connects the now- tiny rear window to the rear door windows, solid headrests, lower-set grille (should merge with that black plastic on the bumper), squarer windshield, thicker pillars all around, factory convex mirrors , and as others have said, lifted & clad with black plastic, because nobody would buy something so low and car-like .

I actually think that if Chrysler came out with another tall compact monospace wagon thing with unusual styling, they would sell all they could buil d. The Soul seems to attract many of the same sorts of buyers the PT Cruiser did during its first couple of years on the market when it was still a hot product; and Kia pretty much has the segment to themselves now.

For the PT Cruiser to come back, it needs to be more of a CUV with optional AWD.
So it might look kind of like that, but look taller/ungainly... like a dash of ‘Ford Ecosport’ was added.
